Elizabeth Carmack DMD
Dr. Elizabeth Carmack is a member of the American Dental Association, the Vermont State Dental Society, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE). She has also received the “America’s Top Dentist” award for the past three years. Dr. Carmack has received additional training through the AAFE in the areas of TMJ disorders, and the therapeutic and dental cosmetic uses of Botox and Juvederm.
Due to her continued education and surgical missions, Dr. Carmack is skilled in full mouth extractions, wisdom teeth extractions, and cosmetic dentistry. She is devoted to developing trusted relationships with her patients, and it is her goal to make patients feel welcomed, understood, and appreciated.
Dr. Carmack received her Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University in 2003, and her DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2009.
In between college and dental school, Dr. Carmack worked as an International Medical Missions Coordinator for Operation Smile, aiding children with cleft lip and palate facial deformities. For two years, Dr. Carmack organized and implemented 50-member surgical teams in Venezuela, China, Philippines, and India. While in dental school Dr. Carmack traveled on an oral surgery mission to remote areas in Nicaragua, and also orchestrated a dental service trip to Mexico.
Dr. Elizabeth Carmack loves working with her charming husband, in addition to being a mother to her three adored children. She is a fitness enthusiast, and enjoys running, hiking, and being active outdoors with her family and pets.
Tyler Carmack DMD
Dr. Tyler Carmack is committed to helping those in need of dental services. As the dentist overseeing the Bennington Oral Health Coalition's dental program at Mount Anthony Union Middle School, Dr. Carmack aids in improving the dental health of Bennington area citizens. He has also initiated a free dental day for area Veterans, and has been involved in many other dental services projects.
While under full academic scholarship, Dr. Carmack received his Bachelor's degree in Russian from Brigham Young University in 2005. He received his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2009 as a Merit scholar and under scholarship for Ethics & Professionalism. While attending dental school Dr. Carmack served as Class President and had the unique opportunity to serve as a translator for Russian speaking Jewish holocaust victims seeking dental care.
Dr. Carmack is a member of the American Dental Association, the Vermont State Dental Society, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. He has also been nominated as an "America's Top Dentist" for the past three years. Dr. Carmack has received additional training on Endodontic Therapy and continues to stay up to date with the most advanced dental technology and techniques.
Dr. Carmack is dedicated to offering the highest level of dentistry to all of his patients. His wit and charismatic personality allow patients to feel relaxed and comfortable while being in a dental setting.
Dr. Carmack met his wife, Dr. Elizabeth Carmack, while attending dental school. They have three lively young children. Along with three dogs, chickens and his Friesian horse, Dono. Other than being a family man, Dr. Carmack enjoys hunting, fishing, guitar and Russian literature.
